About Us

At Alpha Employment Testing Inc., we are committed to providing premier pre-employment services. We offer our customers an outstanding experience.

  • How soon can I get results?
DOT drug tests and any test specimen that has to be sent out to a SAMHSA certified lab for testing takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours for results. Instant urine drug tests, on the other hand, take no more than 5 minutes for results.
  • Do I need to make an appointment to get tested?
No, you do not. We accept walk-ins during our regular hours of operation (Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm). Weekend and after-hour services require an appointment along with a full deposit for the services that will be rendered.
  • How long is the process to conduct a drug test?
Our mission is to get you in and out of our facility in an expedient and professional manner.
  • How long will a substance stay in my system?
Most drugs consumed stay in the body system for a few days. The duration of a substance varies on several contributing factors. Please call our facility for an explicit scenario. All of our testing and services are carried forth with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
  • How far back does a hair follicle drug test detect substances?
Results for a hair follicle test may take up to five days.
  • Do you provide drug testing for minors?
Yes, minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian in order for a drug test to be conducted.
  • How often do I have to test under DOT regulations?
We abide by DOT guidelines and on the agency of operation. The DOT agency that regulates a specific transportation industry sets the random testing rate. Refer to Random Testing Rates for further information.
  • What is the difference between pre-employment and return-to-duty?
It is imperative for these two not to be confused. A pre-employment test is a test conducted prior to a driver and/or employee placed in a safety-sensitive position. A return-to-duty test is conducted after an employee has a verified drug test and is returning to duty. It does NOT apply to employees returning to duty after medical leave or delicate reasons.
  • How is a random selection conducted?
Our random selection is done through a computerized software that generates a pool of participants and randomly selects one to undergo a drug test.
  • Can I send an employee in for a random test if I suspect he/she is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol?
No! Only a supervisor that is certified and has taken Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training may send an employee for testing under a Reasonable Suspicion cause only and NOT for a random test.
  • Does your company keep employers in compliance with 49 CFR Part 40 regulations?
Yes! We keep companies in compliance and assist in audits for drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • How soon can I verify enrollment for an audit?
Immediately! Sign up for our program today and get verified immediately after receipt of full payment.
  • What information is shown on a background check?
Background check information varies on the type of background requested by individuals and/or employers. Our list is vast, call our office for further information.
  • How is a random selection conducted?
