How soon can I get results?DOT drug tests and any test specimen that has to be sent out to a SAMHSA certified lab for testing takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours for results. Instant urine drug tests, on the other hand, take no more than 5 minutes for results.

Do I need to make an appointment to get tested?No, you do not. We accept walk-ins during our regular hours of operation (Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm). Weekend and after-hour services require an appointment along with a full deposit for the services that will be rendered.

How long is the process to conduct a drug test?Our mission is to get you in and out of our facility in an expedient and professional manner.

How long will a substance stay in my system?Most drugs consumed stay in the body system for a few days. The duration of a substance varies on several contributing factors. Please call our facility for an explicit scenario. All of our testing and services are carried forth with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

How far back does a hair follicle drug test detect substances?Results for a hair follicle test may take up to five days.

Do you provide drug testing for minors?Yes, minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian in order for a drug test to be conducted.

How often do I have to test under DOT regulations?We abide by DOT guidelines and on the agency of operation. The DOT agency that regulates a specific transportation industry sets the random testing rate. Refer to Random Testing Rates for further information.

What is the difference between pre-employment and return-to-duty?It is imperative for these two not to be confused. A pre-employment test is a test conducted prior to a driver and/or employee placed in a safety-sensitive position. A return-to-duty test is conducted after an employee has a verified drug test and is returning to duty. It does NOT apply to employees returning to duty after medical leave or delicate reasons.

How is a random selection conducted?Our random selection is done through a computerized software that generates a pool of participants and randomly selects one to undergo a drug test.

Can I send an employee in for a random test if I suspect he/she is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol?No! Only a supervisor that is certified and has taken Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training may send an employee for testing under a Reasonable Suspicion cause only and NOT for a random test.
