Yes. You will receive a LiveScan Request form with an ATI number (Applicant Tracking Identifier) as proof that your fingerprints were submitted.

Fingerprints are submitted instantly to CalDOJ. Results are usually processed within 3 to 7 business days, but can vary by agency. Results are sent electronically to the requesting agency listed on your LiveScan form. We do not receive or view your results.

No. Results are sent directly to the agency that requested the LiveScan. If you need a copy, you must contact that agency directly.

If your fingerprints are rejected due to poor print quality, you will be contacted by the requesting agency. You can return for a free resubmission, as long as you bring the rejection letter.

You may check your status at https://applicantstatus.doj.ca.gov/ . You will need to provide the ATI number (Applicant Tracking Identifier) on your form and your date of birth.
